Phillips 66 was recognized by Forbes as one of ” America’s Best Employers” in 2019.DESCRIPTIONThe Pump & Engine Mechanic Borger will maintain various types of rotating equipment and will be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of various pumps, steam turbines, gear boxes, fans, blowers, mixers, reciprocating engines and compressors and ensures proper installation of equipment to industry standards at the Phillips 66 Borger Refinery located in Borger, Texas.

The starting rate of pay for a Pump & Engine Mechanic dependson the candidate’s skill level after completion of assessments and may range from $32.89/hour with the ability to reach top craft pay within 24 months which is currently $44.84/hour.This position requires successful completion of aptitude, behavioral and skills testing and an on-site interview.

Refinery facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units, as well as an NGL fractionation facility.

The refinery processes primarily medium sour crude oil produced locally, and heavy sour crude oil produced in Canada, all of which are delivered by pipeline.

Borger produces a high percentage of transportation fuels, as well as petroleum coke, NGLs and solvents.
