We are seeking a dynamic individual to take a leadership position in our agile product development process.

The Product Owner will drive execution of our patient intake product and adjacent solutions by stewarding the product roadmap, creating well defined user stories, and facilitating the agile process.

The Product Owner will collaborate with operations, commercial, and engineering leaders to ensure the product meets or exceeds user expectations.n n OBJECTIVES:n n Product Execution
– Primary Focusn n Ownership of our lean Agile requirements process for documenting, managing, and tracking progress with our Patient Intake product suite.

Work closely with business owners and subject matter experts, along with the client community to understand, capture and prioritize requirements.

Drive the definition of Epics and Stories to meet business goals and deadlines.

Partner with the engineering team to ensure that the Stories support a creative and effective design.

Support the management of a comprehensive Product Roadmap on a quarterly basis.

Manage and order the product backlog, working with stakeholders to ensure that it accurately reflects current priorities and business value.

Work with the engineering team to facilitate backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions.

Work with the QA team to perform internal acceptance testing on features and bug fixes before they are released to ensure a high-quality product.

Available to the engineering team to answer questions and provide guidance regarding acceptance criteria, business needs and work priorities.

Present new product functionality and enhancements to stakeholders in sprint review sessions.

"Final Mile" accountability that the product criteria has been met or exceeded after development has delivered their version of the final product.

n n Product Strategy
– Growth/Stretch Focusn n Aid in defining the overall patient intake product roadmap, aligning with HealthMark’s mission.

Assess and qualify opportunities to expand service offerings to new and existing clients that HealthMark is well positioned to offer.

Collaborate with colleagues and senior leaders to study and research the competitive landscape and to stay ahead of the market demands.

Exercise creativity in brainstorming potential software and information solutions to address healthcare providers’ administrative challenges.n n REQUISITE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:n n Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a product owner (healthcare IT product ownership experience, especially with patient intake or patient engagement solutions is a plus).n n Must have strong understanding of Agile methods and frameworks.

Demonstrated success in managing projects that span multiple quarters or years and are iterative in nature.

Working knowledge of software development life cycle and architecture.

Experience in "continuous improvement" work environments and ability to adjust and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining team morale.

Strong ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders, translating business needs to software requirements and stories.

Demonstrated history that reflects detail orientation, organization skills and strong written and verbal communication.

Proficiency in the use of analytics tools.
