USAA: Mac Infrastructure Engineer – Senior Level

We are currently searching for a talented Senior level Mac Infrastructure Engineer.

We have some options around location.

You can work 100% remotely from home or from our corporate office in San Antonio, TX or our regional office located in Plano, TX.

Responsible for creating, modifying, maintaining and supporting infrastructure and individual system components that enable business functions and IT Services.

Balance availability, security, efficiency and functional requirements to help provide an optimized production service.

Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and ensure these risks are effectively identified and escalated to be measured, monitored and controlled.

Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.

Minimum Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required.

6 years of infrastructure experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within a specific discipline(s)/technology(s) to include 2 years’ experience in Systems Operations environment supporting complex environment deployment and infrastructure management activities Preferred Experience: Extensive experience with macOS Management leveraging MDM/UEM Extensive experience and strong knowledge in Shell scripting (BASH/ZSH) Ability to interpret interactions between macOS and various agents for troubleshooting Experience with Workspace One/JAMF Experience with Intune Experience with writing and formatting configuration profiles and PLIST Experience with packaging (Flat packages, Bootstrap packages) Experience with managing Macs in a highly regulated corporate environment Experience with SQL database queries Experience with REST APIs The above description reflects the details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and should not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be performed in the job.

Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.

The salary range for this position is: $106,800 $192,300 (this does not include geographical differential, it may be applied based on your work location) Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.

Geographical Differential : Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.

Shift premium will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
